(b) A teacher who:(1) serves under contract as a teacher in a public school corporation;(2) either:(A) receives two (2) consecutive ratings of ineffective, as determined by the school corporation, on an annual evaluation under IC 20-28-11.5; or(B) is in the teacher's first or second year of full-time teaching in a classroom; and(3) has not at any time before July 1, 2012, entered into a teaching contract for further service with the school corporation;shall be considered a probationary teacher.(c) A teacher who:(1) is not a probationary teacher under subsection (b); and(2) enters into a contract described in section 2 of this chapter;becomes a professional teacher.As added by P.L.90-2011, SEC.29.
