The department may grant a waiver of the penalty imposed under section 4 of this chapter for a particular number of canceled student instructional days if:(1) the school corporation applies to the department for a waiver of the penalty imposed under section 4 of this chapter for a specific number of canceled student instructional days; and(2) each of the particular number of student instructional days requested to be waived under this section was canceled due to extraordinary circumstances.[Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-10.1-2-1.]As added by P.L.1-2005, SEC.14.
