The secretary of education shall appoint an academic standards committee composed of:(1) subject area teachers with subject matter expertise;(2) higher education representatives with subject matter expertise;(3) employers; and(4) parents;that is racially and geographically diverse during the period when a subject area is undergoing revision.[Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-10.1-16-6.]As added by P.L.1-2005, SEC.15.
