However, if a court determines that a student who has been suspended or expelled may:(1) be a child in need of services (as described in IC 31-34-1); or(2) have committed a delinquent act (as described in IC 31-37);the court may notify the office of family and children or the prosecuting attorney.As added by P.L.242-2005, SEC.23.
