(a) Each state officer shall do whatever is necessary within the officer's respective jurisdiction in order to carry out the purposes of the compact for education adopted by the state under this chapter.(b) All officers, bureaus, or departments of state government shall furnish, upon the request of a commissioner designated under section 4 of this chapter, any information and data possessed by that officer, bureau, or department that pertains to the policies and purposes of the compact for education.[Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-11-1-4.]As added by P.L.1-2005, SEC.22.
