Each term of a nonstudent board member begins on January 1 of the appropriate year.(b) The term of a member continues until the member's successor is appointed and qualified.(c) The student member of the board of trustees is appointed for a two (2) year term. The student member's term begins on July 1 of the year in which the student member is appointed.
