The purpose of the animal disease diagnostic laboratory is to:(1) aid Indiana residents in the diagnosis of diseases of domestic animals by developing and applying accepted laboratory techniques and methods of diagnosis with a primary emphasis on cases submitted after a field diagnosis of a clinically apparent disease; and(2) add to the wealth of Indiana by aiding the Indiana state board of animal health in the prevention, control, and eradication of diseases of domestic animals.[Pre-2007 Higher Education Recodification Citation: 15-2.1-5-2.]As added by P.L.2-2007, SEC.287.
