§ 22-12-9-3

A contractor or subcontractor proposing to convert a residential property from heating oil to another heat source shall inform the property owner of the requirements of this chapter and include in a contract for labor and materials the cost of:(1) properly removing and disposing of all flammable or combustible liquids from a heating oil tank; and(2) either:(A) removing an outside filling pipe; or(B) permanently securing the tank against accidental filling.As added by P.L.131-1997, SEC.7.
