(b) To qualify for a design release under this section, an applicant must:(1) demonstrate, through the submission of plans and specifications for the construction covered by the application, that the construction will comply with all applicable building laws and fire safety laws;(2) have the submitted plans and specifications prepared by an architect registered under IC 25-4 or a professional engineer registered under IC 25-31, if required under the rules adopted by the commission; and(3) pay the fees set under IC 22-12-6-6.As added by P.L.245-1987, SEC.4.
