This chapter does not apply to any business combination of a resident domestic corporation that does not, as of the share acquisition date, have a class of voting shares registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under Section 12 of the Exchange Act, unless the corporation's articles of incorporation provide otherwise.As added by P.L.149-1986, SEC.27.
