As used in this chapter, 'veterans' service organization' means a veterans' organization that:(1) is qualified as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) of the Internal Revenue Code;(2) is organized for the verification and burial of veterans and dependents of veterans; and(3) meets one (1) or more of the following:(A) Is recognized by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.(B) Is federally chartered by the Congress of the United States.As added by P.L.90-2016, SEC.2.
