Assets of a dissolved limited liability company that should be transferred to a creditor, claimant, or member of the limited liability company who cannot be found or who is not competent to receive the assets must be reduced to cash and deposited with the treasurer of state or other appropriate state official for safekeeping. When the creditor, claimant, or member furnishes satisfactory proof of entitlement to the amount deposited, the treasurer of state or other appropriate state official must pay to the creditor, claimant, or member or a representative of the creditor, claimant, or member that amount.As added by P.L.8-1993, SEC.301.
