(a) 'Automobile club' means a person that, for consideration, promises to assist its members or subscribers in matters relating to:(1) motor travel; or(2) the operation, use, or maintenance of a motor vehicle;by supplying services, which may include towing service, emergency road service, or indemnification service.(b) The term includes:(1) a motor vehicle dealer; or(2) an insurance company;operating as an automobile club to provide any of the services described in subsection (a).As added by P.L.281-2019, SEC.5.
