After December 31, 2021, except as provided in section 8 of this chapter, a prescriber shall issue a prescription for a controlled substance:(1) in an electronic format; and(2) by electronic transmission from the prescriber to a pharmacy;in accordance with rules adopted by the board under IC 25-26-13-4(d).As added by P.L.28-2019, SEC.9.
