The board may refuse to issue a license to an applicant for licensure under section 2 of this chapter if:(1) the applicant has been disciplined by an administrative agency in another state or jurisdiction, and the board determines that the violation for which the applicant was disciplined has a direct bearing on the applicant's ability to practice competently in Indiana; or(2) the applicant has been convicted of:(A) an act that would constitute a ground for disciplinary sanction under IC 25-1-9; or(B) a crime that has a direct bearing on the applicant's ability to practice competently.As added by P.L.124-1994, SEC.7.
