(a) A professional surveyor:(1) is personally responsible for designing and directing the training, procedures, and daily activities of an employee participating in any part of the survey; and(2) shall maintain records that are reasonably necessary to establish that the responsibility of the professional surveyor for the employee that is required by this section has been fulfilled.(b) Before a professional surveyor completes, seals, or signs a survey, plan, specification, plat, drawing, or report, all procedures followed and the decisions made by the employee who participated in the survey, plan, specification, plat, drawing, or report must be reviewed and approved by the professional surveyor.As added by P.L.178-1997, SEC.23.
