(a) A person who knowingly or intentionally violates this article by unlawfully practicing medicine or osteopathic medicine commits a Class C felony (for a crime committed before July 1, 2014) or a Level 5 felony (for a crime committed after June 30, 2014).(b) A person who, before July 1, 2015, practices midwifery without the license required under this article commits a Class D felony (for a crime committed before July 1, 2014) or a Level 6 felony (for a crime committed after June 30, 2014).(c) A person who knowingly or intentionally acts as a physician assistant without the license required under IC 25-27.5 commits a Class D felony (for a crime committed before July 1, 2014) or a Level 6 felony (for a crime committed after June 30, 2014).Formerly: Acts 1975, P.L.271, SEC.1.
