§ 25-23-4-4-6

After a client has given birth, the certified direct entry midwife shall:(1) provide the client with a statement indicating that the newborn infant should be examined by a pediatrician or family practice physician for checkups beginning within two (2) weeks after birth; and(2) identify with the client a pediatrician or family practice physician for the care of the infant.As added by P.L.232-2013, SEC.20.
