The provisions of this article that require a license to engage in the practice of occupational therapy do not apply to the following:(1) The practice of occupational therapy by an individual who is practicing occupational therapy as part of a supervised course of study in an educational program approved by the board.(2) The practice of occupational therapy by an occupational therapy assistant who is:(A) licensed under this article; and(B) acting under the supervision of an occupational therapist.As added by P.L.197-2007, SEC.59.
