§ 25-23-1-27

A person who:(1) sells or fraudulently obtains or furnishes any nursing diploma, license or record;(2) practices nursing under cover of any diploma or license or record illegally or fraudulently obtained or assigned or issued unlawfully or under fraudulent representation;(3) practices nursing as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse unless licensed to do so under this chapter or IC 25-42;(4) uses in connection with the person's name any designation tending to imply that the person is a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse unless licensed to practice under this chapter or IC 25-42;(5) practices nursing during the time the person's license issued under this chapter or IC 25-42 is suspended or revoked;(6) conducts a school of nursing or a program for the training of practical nurses unless the school or program has been accredited by the board; or(7) otherwise violates this chapter;commits a Class B misdemeanor.Formerly: Acts 1949, c.159, s.27; Acts 1974, P.L.119, SEC.4.
