(a) A person who:(1) is a cosmetologist, a manicurist, an electrologist, an esthetician, a barber, or an instructor; and(2) knowingly performs any act authorized by a license issued under this article while the person has an infectious, a contagious, or a communicable disease that has been epidemiologically demonstrated to be transmitted through casual contact;commits a Class C infraction.(b) A person who knowingly attends a beauty culture school as a student while the person has an infectious, a contagious, or a communicable disease that has been epidemiologically demonstrated to be transmitted through casual contact commits a Class C infraction.As added by P.L.257-1987, SEC.13.
