The director of the Indiana state department of agriculture may appoint the director of the agency, who shall serve at the pleasure of the director of the Indiana state department of agriculture. The director shall administer this chapter and shall be the ultimate authority in the administration of this chapter.(b) The agency shall employ all necessary employees, counsel, and consultants to carry out the provisions of this chapter and is vested with the power necessary to fully and effectively carry out the provisions and objectives of this chapter.Formerly: Acts 1973, P.L.268, SEC.1; Acts 1975, P.L.277, SEC.1.
