A person who performed the functions of a limited lines producer negotiating or soliciting the type of insurance described in IC 27-1-5-1, Class 2(j) before July 1, 1977, is not required to take an examination, but is entitled to have an insurance producer's license issued to the individual, subject to IC 27-1-15.7 and the requirements of this chapter.As added by P.L.132-2001, SEC.3.
