§ 27-1-17-1

Any foreign or alien insurance company organized for the purpose of transacting any insurance business, not qualified as of March 8, 1935, to transact business in this state, before transacting business in this state shall procure a certificate of authority from the department in the manner provided in this chapter and shall otherwise comply with the provisions and be subject to the regulations set forth in this chapter.Formerly: Acts 1935, c.162, s.226.
