A public adjuster shall not:(1) file an insurance claim with:(A) an insurer; or(B) an agent, employee, or representative of an insurer;on behalf of an insured person;(2) act in any manner in relation to claims for personal injury or automobile liability;(3) bind the insured in the settlement of claims; or(4) perform:(A) the role of a roofing contractor;(B) the role of an appraiser; or(C) any other role;with respect to the subject of a claim at the same time that the public adjuster is providing advice or assistance to an insured in the adjustment of the claim.As added by P.L.226-2023, SEC.4.
