As used in this chapter, 'automated claims adjudication system' means a preprogrammed computer system that:(1) is designed for the collection, data entry, calculation, and system generated final resolution of property insurance claims;(2) is used only by a licensee or a person described in section 6(b)(2) or 6(b)(3) of this chapter;(3) complies with all claim payment requirements under Indiana insurance law; and(4) is certified as compliant with the claims adjudication requirements of this chapter by an individual who is an:(A) independent adjuster who is licensed under this chapter; and(B) officer of a business entity that is licensed under this chapter.As added by P.L.11-2011, SEC.22.
