(a) Except as otherwise provided in this article and subject to subsection (b), the amendment of the articles of incorporation of a mutual insurance company under a plan under this article must be conducted in compliance with IC 27-1-8.(b) The commissioner, the attorney general, and the secretary of state shall:(1) examine; and(2) if warranted, approve;the proposed articles of amendment before the amended articles are submitted to the members for approval.As added by P.L.226-2023, SEC.30.
