§ 27-4-1-1

S.C. 1011 et seq., by defining, or providing for the determination of, all such practices which constitute in this state unfair methods of competition and unfair or deceptive acts or practices and by prohibiting the trade practices so defined or determined.Formerly: Acts 1947, c.112, s.1.
