As used in this chapter, 'provider billing agent' means a person or entity that contracts with a dental provider to provide billing services for the dental provider, including:(1) submitting bills to patients;(2) requesting payment from patients; and(3) receiving payment from patients;under the terms and conditions of the contract between the dental provider and the person or entity.As added by P.L.31-2021, SEC.4.
