(a) As used in this chapter, 'HMO contract' means a contract under which a health maintenance organization (as defined in IC 27-13-1-19) undertakes to provide or arrange for the delivery of health care services to enrollees on a prepaid basis, except for enrollee responsibility for copayments or deductibles.(b) The term includes:(1) an individual contract (as defined in IC 27-13-1-21); and(2) a group contract (as defined in IC 27-13-1-16).As added by P.L.170-2022, SEC.38.
