(b) The term includes a health benefit plan established, adopted, or maintained:(1) by an employer;(2) jointly by an employer and one (1) or more employee organizations; or(3) by an association, committee, joint board of trustees, or any similar group of representatives.(c) The term does not include an entity regulated under this title.As added by P.L.226-2023, SEC.23.
