(a) As used in this section, 'branch location' means a location that:(1) is maintained by a person licensed or required to be licensed under this chapter;(2) is located somewhere other than the person's main office location; and(3) does not constitute a separate legal entity from, or a subsidiary of, the person.(b) Except in a transaction approved under section 9.1 of this chapter, a license is not transferable or assignable. Subject to section 10 of this chapter, one (1) or more branch locations may be maintained under the same license.Formerly: Acts 1935, c.195, s.9.
