§ 29-1-1-19

A guardian of the estate or a guardian ad litem may make the waiver on behalf of a protected person. A consul or other representative of a foreign government, whose appearance has been entered as provided by law on behalf of a person residing in a foreign country, may make a waiver of notice on behalf of the person.
