§ 3-10-1-29

The tally sheet upon which the count has been entered shall be included in the returns of the election. Each precinct election board shall, on blanks provided for that purpose, make full and accurate returns of the votes cast for each candidate and on each public question unless votes were cast on a ballot card voting system that is not designed to allow the counting and tabulation of votes by the precinct election board. The board shall set forth in the return, opposite the name of each candidate and public question, the number of votes cast for the candidate and for or against each public question.
