§ 3-10-1-30

(a) At the close of the polls and before counting the votes, each precinct election board shall count all mutilated and unvoted paper ballots and ballot cards of each political party, place them in separate bags, and seal them. The number of unvoted ballots shall be marked on the outside of the bags.(b) If a ballot card voting system was used in a precinct, the precinct election board shall comply with IC 3-12-3-2.(c) At the close of the count the board shall place all voted paper ballots of each party in separate bags, sealed and properly labeled, showing the number of paper ballots they contain and the number voted but not counted.[Pre-1986 Recodification Citation: 3-1-9-17(b) part.]As added by P.L.5-1986, SEC.6.
