This list of audit records must reflect all of the idiosyncrasies of a system.(b) As required by 52 U.S.C. 21081, the voting system must:(1) produce a permanent paper record with a manual audit capacity for the system; and(2) provide the voter with an opportunity to change the ballot or correct any error before the permanent paper record is produced.(c) The paper record produced under subsection (b) must be made available as an official record for a recount or contest conducted with respect to any election in which the voting system was used.As added by P.L.3-1997, SEC.332.
