(b) This section does not apply to a candidate nominated under IC 3-8-5-14 and subject to IC 3-8-5-14.7.(c) All questions concerning the validity of a certificate of candidate selection filed under section 20 of this chapter with the election division shall be determined by the commission. A statement questioning the validity of a certificate of candidate selection must be filed with the election division under IC 3-8-1-2(d) not later than noon seventy-four (74) days before the date on which the general election will be held for the office.(d) All questions concerning the validity of a certificate of candidate selection filed under section 20 of this chapter with a circuit court clerk shall be referred to and determined by the county election board.
