The caucus procedure prescribed by this chapter for filling vacancies in local offices must be followed whenever required by IC 3-13-6-2, IC 3-13-6-3(a), IC 3-13-7-1, IC 3-13-8-1, IC 3-13-9-1, or IC 3-13-10-1.
