'Former candidate' refers to an individual who was a candidate for an election and satisfies any of the following:(1) The individual has died before the election, including a candidate certified as deceased under IC 3-8-7-1.(2) The individual has withdrawn as a candidate before the election.(3) The individual has been disqualified as a candidate under IC 3-8-1-5.(4) The individual has been disqualified as a candidate under a court order issued under IC 3-8-7-29(d).As added by P.L.227-2023, SEC.2.
