A deputy election commissioner appointed under this section must reside in the county of the election board that appointed the deputy commissioner. If a deputy election commissioner ceases to be a resident of the county of the election board that appointed the deputy election commissioner, the person may not continue to serve as a deputy election commissioner of the county.[Pre-1986 Recodification Citation: 3-1-4-5(a) part.]As added by P.L.5-1986, SEC.2.
