A candidate for the office of county commissioner must:(1) have resided in the county for at least one (1) year before the election, as provided in Article 6, Section 4 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana; and(2) have resided in the district in which the candidate is seeking election for at least six (6) months before the election.[Pre-1986 Recodification Citations: Ind.
