Each candidate may have one (1) watcher at each voting system to check the voting system before and after each ballot and to check the work of any election officer. The inspector and poll clerks:(1) shall take an oath to perform their duties faithfully and to the best of their abilities before anyone entitled to administer an oath;(2) must be qualified in relationship to candidates in the same manner as precinct election officers under IC 3-6-6-7; and(3) are subject to the same penalties as precinct election officers.[Pre-1986 Recodification Citation: 3-1-10-3 part.]As added by P.L.5-1986, SEC.4.
