(a) Except as provided in section 16 of this chapter, the state department shall immediately respond to requests regarding registrations under this chapter:(1) in writing; and(2) in a manner described by section 20 of this chapter.(b) The state department may charge a fee for responding to a request under this section, unless the state department mails the state department's response.[Pre-1997 Recodification Citation: 31-3-1.5-18(c).]As added by P.L.1-1997, SEC.11.
