At the request of a prosecuting attorney or other appropriate public official acting under section 18 of this chapter, a law enforcement officer may:(1) take a lawful action reasonably necessary to locate a child or a party; and(2) assist a prosecuting attorney or appropriate public official with responsibilities under section 18 of this chapter.As added by P.L.138-2007, SEC.45.
