(a) The department shall deny a request made under this chapter if:(1) the child does not have a Social Security number;(2) the department does not have a record of the child's Social Security number; or(3) the conditions in section 4 of this chapter are not met.(b) If the department denies a request, the response to the request must include the reason for the denial.As added by P.L.77-2023, SEC.7.
