As used in this chapter, 'conveyance' means:(1) an instrument of writing concerning land or an interest in land, except a last will and testament;(2) a lease for a term not exceeding three (3) years; or(3) an executory contract for the sale and purchase of land;for purposes of the acknowledgment or proof of the instrument, lease, or contract, the recording of the instrument, lease, or contract, and the force and effect of that recording.[Pre-2002 Recodification Citation: 32-1-2-31.]As added by P.L.2-2002, SEC.6.
