An order to show cause issued under section 5 of this chapter must inform the defendant that:(1) the defendant may:(A) file affidavits on the defendant’s behalf with the court;(B) appear and present testimony on the defendant’s behalf at the time of the hearing; and(C) file with the court a written undertaking to stay the delivery of the property in accordance with this article; and(2) if the defendant fails to appear, plaintiff may be granted a judgment of possession.[Pre-2002 Recodification Citation: 34-21-3-3.]As added by P.L.2-2002, SEC.20.
