The writ of prohibition commands the court and party to whom the writ is directed:(1) to refrain from any further proceedings in the matter specified in the action until the return of the writ and further order of the court; and(2) upon the return, to show cause why the party to whom the writ is directed is not absolutely restrained from any further proceedings in the matter.[Pre-1998 Recodification Citation: 34-1-58-6.]As added by P.L.1-1998, SEC.23.
