§ 34-37-1-5

Certificates or instruments, either printed or written, purporting to be:(1) the official act of a notary public of this state, of the District of Columbia, or of any other state or territory of the United States; and(2) under the seal and signature of a notary public;shall be received as presumptive evidence of the official character of the instrument and of the facts set forth in the instrument.[Pre-1998 Recodification Citation: 34-1-17-5.]As added by P.L.1-1998, SEC.33.
