(b) This section applies to an action filed after June 30, 2017.(c) Subject to the requirements of this chapter, a court shall not award attorney's fees without conducting a hearing.(d) A hearing to determine the award of attorney's fees under this section may include:(1) presentation of evidence;(2) testimony of expert witnesses; and(3) any other evidence the court requires to make its determination.As added by P.L.256-2017, SEC.189.
